Discovering Dorset: Our Magical Stay in a Country House

Greetings from the enchanting county of Dorset, England! Our latest adventure has taken us to a truly magical place—a beautiful country house nestled in the heart of this picturesque region. From the moment we arrived, we felt like we had stepped into a fairy-tale.

The house itself is a stunning blend of historic charm and modern comfort. With its grand architecture, cosy fireplaces, and elegant rooms, it has provided the perfect backdrop for our world schooling journey. The large windows offer breath-taking views of the surrounding countryside, allowing us to wake up to the sight of rolling hills and lush greenery every morning.

Adding to the charm of this beautiful home are the delightful animal residents. The manor's grounds are shared with five friendly dogs, two gorgeous cats, two majestic peacocks, five playful ducks, three wise owls, and a bustling bunch of chickens. Each day has brought us new joy and laughter as we interact with these wonderful creatures. Dylan has especially enjoyed making friends with the dogs and watching the peacocks display their vibrant feathers.

The gardens including a swimming pool here are a true haven. We've spent countless hours wandering through manicured lawns, vibrant flower beds, and tranquil wooded areas, often accompanied by our furry and feathered friends. Each corner of the estate holds its own unique beauty, inviting us to pause and appreciate the serenity of nature. The presence of the animals adds an extra layer of enchantment, making our walks feel like scenes from a storybook.

Our temporary home has also been a wonderful place for creativity and learning. The spacious rooms and serene environment have inspired us to dive into our studies and projects with renewed energy.
