Walking Back Into the Circle: What We’ve Been Creating Behind the Scenes

It’s been almost a year since we last shared a post here, and while the page has been quiet, life certainly hasn’t. This past year has been one of the most challenging and transformational seasons of our journey so far. We’ve been travelling full-time, caring for homes and pets across the country, continuing to world-educate Dylan as we go, and at the same time, building something much bigger in the background.

Many of you will remember Guardians UK, the platform we created from our own lived experience of this lifestyle. The vision was clear: a house and pet sitting community built by travellers and pet lovers for travellers and pet lovers. But the reality of bringing it to life was not simple. The first development team we entrusted with the build failed to deliver a platform that was usable in any real way. After months of chasing, delays, and broken promises, we had to accept that what had been delivered wasn’t what was agreed, and couldn’t be salvaged.

It was a hard truth to face. We pressed pause, took time to regroup, and began the long, draining legal process to try and recover the money we had invested in that failed build. That battle is still ongoing today, and we continue to fight to get those funds back. But we reached a point where we knew we couldn’t keep waiting for an outcome. We had to move forward regardless.

So we made the decision to begin again. To rebuild, to reimagine, and to expand. We realised this wasn’t just about the UK. It was never meant to be confined to one country. What we were building needed to be bigger, bolder, and more aligned with the way we, and so many others, are living. Out of that came The Guardians Tribe.

This is not just a rebrand, it’s a rebirth. The Guardians Tribe will be a global platform, a worldwide community where homeowners and guardians can connect in trust and freedom. It’s being built now, from the ground up, with the lessons of the past deeply ingrained into the foundation. And this time, the vision is being delivered properly. The new platform is under construction as we write this, with a view to go live before the end of this year.

In the midst of all this, we’ve also been writing. Our books and guides have been a way to capture this journey and share it with those who feel called to step outside the old way of living. The Nomad Family Blueprint tells the story of how we broke free and began this life, The Unschooling Framework shares how we’re reimagining Dylan’s education, and our free guides give simple steps for families ready to take their first steps toward freedom. Every word has been shaped by the lessons of this year, resilience, faith, and remembering that even setbacks can open the way for something better.

So if it has seemed quiet on the surface, it’s only because so much has been moving underneath. We’ve been sowing seeds, reshaping dreams, and building foundations stronger than before. And now, we’re ready to share again.
